I retained the Law Firm of Diaz and Associates on or about July 15 of 2010. I had gone to two other Law Firms before I came to Diaz & Associates, PA. The first Law Firm told me that there was very little chance in saving my house, because I was over two years behind and I already had one sales date postponed.
The second Law Firm requested the entire Retainer fee upfront and they were very rude and unprofessional. I decided to go to Diaz & Associates for the free initial consultation. I was feeling desperate because I had the “second” sale date schedule within 30 days. To my surprise The Law Firm of Diaz & Associates treated me like a human being.
After I executed The Retainer they immediately made arrangements to attend the sale date Hearing with me. They also immediately started preparing the Loan Modification application package for submission.
To my amazement they were able to postpone the sale of my house. The judge stated that because the Loan Modification package was very thorough and submitted in a timely fashion that he would postpone the sale of the house so the bank could have enough time to review.
Over the next twelve months the bank denied my Loan Modification four times, Diaz & Associates would re-submit every single time. However the last time they actually filled a Complaint with the Department of Finance, regarding how my lender was handling the file.
Finally on or about November 15, 2011 (four months after my Retainer Agreement expired) Diaz & Associates were able to secure a Modification for about 50% reduction of my mortgage payment, I was actually 46 months behind when I received the Loan Modification approval.
In addition to all of the effort made, Diaz & Associates, P.A. were also able negotiate a repayment plan with my past due Home owners Association fees.
The Law Firm of Diaz & Associates saved my home when it appears hopeless for me. They were Courteous, Professional, Competent, and sensitive to my personal situation.
